Cheryl has been painting for more than 40 years. What started as “Dad’s night with the babies” grew into a small business. Partnering with her father, a retired carpenter, Ole King Tole (Loveland, Colorado) specialized in customized wood designs by Frank. Meanwhile, Cheryl ran the business including teaching classes 5+ days a week, designing and writing 3 nationally distributed books, countless pattern packets, and helping countless novice painters find their way. Now retired and relocated, Cheryl continues to design and enjoy the art of decorative painting. While Cheryl primarily designs patterns from her original ideas, she sells her work at local Craft shows, teaches nationally at conventions (Painting Palooza), and is available for small group classes.
